General Information:
At Saint James our Sunday School mission is to teach the youth of our parish about the Word of God through the use of Bible readings, art, games, music and the lives of our saints.† The Antiochian and Greek Archdiocese curriculums and texts are used to meet the OCEC educational standards.
Time Commitment: Students attend Sunday School during the Matins service starting at 9am. Following Sunday School, the students attend the Sunday Divine Liturgy at 10am.
Membership: Sunday School is offered to kindergarten through 6th grade.† We are hoping to expand our class offering to include infant, preschool, and high school students. The Sunday School is always in need of dedicated teachers and with more teachers, we will able to expand!
Calendar: Sunday School begins the first Sunday in September and runs through the last Sunday in May.

Parent's Night Out is Sponsored by the Women's Ministry team, Friday December 2nd children are invited to come between 5:30 and 9 for dinner and ornament making. Please RSVP to Kr. Carla.
Christmas Tree Decorating Sunday December 4th following Divine Liturgy all the children are invited to help decorate the Christmas trees.
St. Nicholas Night is Monday December 5th following the service, we will have a short play telling the story of St. Nicholas AND St. Nicholas will make an appearance to hand out a special gift. Make sure to take your shoes off before you come in so they can be filled with treats!
Christmas Pageant Sunday December 18th after Divine Liturgy. All Sunday School classes participate as actors, singers and/or readers. All dress up in costumes.
Rehearsal Schedule:
Sunday Dec 4th - During Sunday school we will be picking parts.
Sunday Dec 11th- During Sunday school
Saturday Dec 17th 4:30pm to 6pm
Sunday Dec 18th- During Sunday school after Liturgy is the play!
